Jelili - The Bloodthirsty Vampire of Alimosho

 

In the shadows of Alimosho, Hon. Sulaimon Jelili lurks like a bloodthirsty vampire, preying on unsuspecting victims in his relentless pursuit of power. On November 5, 2021, he convened a gathering of the APC party excos, but hiding among them were dangerous thugs, eagerly enlisted for his violent schemes. Alhaji Abiodun Isola Ejigbadero, unaware of the meeting and its sinister underbelly, walked into the council only to find himself in the middle of a trap - practically surrounded by menacing figures. In the ensuing chaos, his followers were attacked, narrowly escaping with their lives as Ejigbadero managed to evade the deadly plot.

Undeterred by their initial failure, Jelili and his cohorts devised another nefarious plan during a constituency meeting on December 16, 2021, at Akinogun. Armed with a fresh cadre of thugs, they sought to inflict harm on Ejigbadero once more. But forewarned of their intentions, Ejigbadero steered clear, warning his followers to stay away. Despite their efforts, news soon spread of the tragic death of one Rotimi also recruited for the evil activity, but Ejigbadero remained unscathed, thwarting their murderous designs once again. If Ejigbadero had attended that meeting, he would have been accused of the death of Rotimi, but that scheme failed.

Their thirst for violence unquenched, Jelili summoned another meeting on March 27, 2022, at Abati Primary School. Sensing danger, Ejigbadero urged his followers to leave, but some ignored the warning, resulting in another vicious assault that nearly claimed a life - Monsuru Sekoni was badly injured. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Ejigbadero made a crucial decision - to steer clear of these political predators and their deadly agendas, and he so warned his followers.

Frustrated by their failures on the political stage, Jelili turned to darker forces, enlisting the help of Omotolani Adedayo, a dangerous thug with ties to the NURTW, to carry out his assassination plot. Despite Ejigbadero's warnings, Omotolani ignored reason, unleashing a wave of violence that culminated in the tragic murder of Michael Ajayi on April 16, 2024 - yet another victim of Jelili's insatiable thirst for power. In the face of such malevolence, Ejigbadero stands as a beacon of resilience, unwavering in his commitment to thwarting the sinister machinations of Jelili and his ilk. But as the shadows deepen and the threat looms ever larger, the battle for Alimosho's soul rages on, with the bloodthirsty vampire of Jelili showing no signs of relenting in his quest for dominance.
